An e-invoice is structured data that the recipient’s ERP system can read and process automatically – not a PDF attached to an email. We advise on strategy, choice of solution and how e-invoicing fits into your existing ERP processes.
The established way to exchange orders, order confirmations, despatch advices and invoices in standardised formats between trading partners. We help make EDI and e-invoicing work together in the same flow.
The purchasing flow from order to paid supplier invoice. Digital P2P makes it easier to match order, delivery and invoice – and to handle exceptions.
The sales flow from customer order to incoming payment. Digital orders and e-invoices sent to customers make O2C faster and more predictable.
A business network connects senders and receivers, so you do not need a separate integration with every customer, supplier or authority. As co-founder of Pagero AB, I have extensive experience of such networks, for example Pagero Network. GENA (Global Exchange Network Association) is the industry association working to make networks able to exchange documents with each other.

EDI is a broader exchange of business documents, such as orders, despatch advices and invoices, often in industry-specific standards. E-invoicing refers to the invoice itself in a structured format. Many companies need both, and both can travel through the same business network.
Purchase to Pay (P2P) is the purchasing process from order to payment. Order to Cash (O2C) is the corresponding process on the sales side, from order to incoming payment. An invoice sent in the seller’s O2C becomes an incoming invoice in the buyer’s P2P.
CTC means invoice data is reported to, or approved by, the tax authority on an ongoing basis. In the EU, VAT reporting for B2B sales to other member states is to become fully digital by 2030. What that means for you depends on the countries you trade with and how your systems are set up – a good starting point for a first conversation.
